Meet Dr. Mackenzie Murphy

Dr. Mackenzie Murphy is a Bay Area native who grew up in her father’s dental office, knowing at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. She is grateful for the amazing mentorship from her father and strives to continue his legacy of providing patients with beautiful, healthy smiles using the most up-to-date technology and conservative approaches.
She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Williams College in Massachusetts. There she was a First Team All-American softball pitcher and first baseman, as well as an Academic All-American and Female Scholar Athlete of the Year for her college.
Dr. Murphy was proud to follow in her father’s footsteps in attending University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she graduated with high honors, earning distinguished membership in the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and Tau Kappa Omega. She was also the recipient of the Drs. Wai Ming Chan and Ruby Yu Endowed Scholarship which is awarded to the senior student with the highest clinical GPA who is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Murphy enjoys travel, golf, baking, reading, and, of course, rooting for the Giants and Warriors.
